The Space

Co. Author is a shared space and community for writers and creators.

Adjacent to beautiful Washington Square Park, and within a short walk of Jefferson Station and other abundant transit options, Co.Author is meant to be a welcome, accessible space to feel focused and connected, with a quiet working room, a large open area writing space, and tons of natural light.

Tucked inside a historic publishing house, members share the space with a newsroom, creating some writer-friendly vibes.

  • Why: To give a quiet, inspirational place to create

  • Who: For all creators, especially those who write, including fiction and nonfiction, journalists, researchers and marketers, poets and other creatives.

  • Where: In this first iteration, we will be housed inside the Technical.ly newsroom on the 12th floor of the Curtis building at 601 Walnut Street, Washington Square, Philadelphia

  • When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-4pm: After a series of summertime 2023 tests, we’ll operate this phase from Labor Day in September to December 2023.

Want to join, or come check out the space? The internet is strong and the coffee is hot. Come say hi.
